Website Development

At Municipal Web Services, municipal websites are all we do.  Every custom website we develop reflects the unique character and qualities of the community it represents.  Because we specialize in local government websites, you won't have to educate us on the basics of your organization.  We'll even share with your team the best practices and innovative approaches that we've used with other cities, villages, townships and counties around the country.

We design our websites in a collaborative process that ensures that you'll be excited about the results.  We then construct your site using exacting standards that yield a consistent and comprehensive website that is:

  • easy to use
  • easy to maintain
  • easy to expand in the future

Include us when you send out your next website redesign or enhancement RFP and we'll tell you more about the process.

FAQ

How long does it take to develop a municipal website?

It depends on the amount of content in the website.  We've developed websites in as short as four weeks.  Other sites with comprehensive content or interactive services take longer.

How much does it cost to develop a comprehensive website?

Again, it depends on the amount and type of content and the extent of interactive e-government services.  When writing your Request for Proposal, make sure to provide as much detail about content and about the required online services so that we can provide an accurate quote.

Do you develop websites that are accessible to those with disabilities?

Yes.  In fact, we go well beyond the simple requirements of Section 508 of the Workforce Rehabilitation Act.  We strive to make our accessible sites truly simple to use by those who need voice browsers.  Check out some of our accessible sites in our portfolio.
